Variety is reporting that Millennium Films, in the footsteps of the Spartans from 300, is developing a Hercules film. A Hercules film would be great…especially a gritty, bloody one. But NO SLO-MOTION please! 300 would've been five times better (and ten times shorter) had there been no slo-motion sequences during EVERY fight scene. Please don't make Herc look like an extra on the set of a Madonna video. Cuz if I hear there's slo-mo in there, I'm gonna just rent the Kevin Sorbo DVDs and watch that instead. Sure, he's skinny..sure, it's New Zealand…but I CAN'T TAKE ANY MORE FRICKIN SLO-MO!!!!

Sean Hood, who wrote a slew of horror flicks, like Halloween: Resurrection and Cube 2: Hypercube, will write the script (so expect 300-style blood, at the very least).
