Heather Mills has reportedly flown to Hollywood to get to work on a "tell-all" biopic. The Daily Mail of the UK reports that this is a result of her divorce from Sir Paul McCartney not going well. She had set a deadline (sounds like a kidnapping) at which point she wanted to be paid a divorce settlement of 50 million pounds. This deadline passed last Friday, and now she is expected to meet American film producer Robert von Dassanowsky to discuss the possibility of a film about her life.
An anonymous source (so read this for what it's worth) told The Daily Mail that Mills's tell-all biopic was shelved for a time when Mills thought her big settlement was coming.
But the script was dusted off pretty rapidly over the weekend. She had wanted Heather Locklear to play her. She now feels someone with slightly more credibility like Reese Witherspoon should play her. Heather wants an unknown to play Paul.
Heather sees this film as the tragic and empowering story of her life - a young model who gets run over and loses her leg, overcomes her difficulties and marries her prince. But the most interesting part of the tale will be the dark goings on between the couple behind closed doors.
Wow, can you imagine a better way to become an incredibly hated person? First of all, this is the stuff of a Lifetime made-for-TV movie at best. Secondly, don't take on The Beatles. People still love The Beatles. Thirdly, films made as "revenge" aren't going to be viewed positively. Although, seeing as she's not exactly known for her writing abilities, her screenplay might be a good laugh.
