David Duchovny tells no lies. Back in September, the actor gave an interview in which he said that the X-Files 2 script was written and that they were hoping to begin shooting in December. Some of us were skeptical. It seemed surprising that the production would be shooting so soon when it had slipped by unnoticed by virtually everyone. But sure enough, Comingsoon.net is reporting that December 10th has been set as the start date for filming. Gillian Anderson will be reprising her role as Agent Scully, while Duchovny will be playing Mulder. Series creator Chris Carter will direct the script he co-wrote with Frank Spotnitz. Let's hope they do a better job of marketing this project after it's been shot than they have been thus far.
