Thank God for Bloody Disgusting. They've been dropping some gems, and we're happy to report that things are looking good for vampire flick fans. Sony is set to announce Underworld 3 in the next week or two. The film, which will function as a prequel to the previous two films, looks pretty hot, at least insofar as we're able to tell based on the preliminary intel. The film will be sheparded by special effects-monster Patrick Tatopoulos, who is known for his work on FX laden films including Independence Day and the original Underworld. Bloddy Disgusting broke the story during a live "Masters of the Web" online panel. Thankya much, guys! As far as prequels go, this one could be pretty engaging, though the rumored absence of a certain…ahem…Kate Beckinsale has me bit worried, though it's nothing a little "other hot girl" can't fix. Let's goooooo.
