Director Frank Darabont uses Stephen King as a source again (The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile), but this time he's actually making a horror movie.  And it looks pretty interesting in a small-story-with-wide-scope-and-also-there-are-batmonsters kind of way.

The Mist was easily one of the best works by Stephen King. I read it a good 10-12 years ago and it still stands out vividly as one of the scariest, most well put together stories to date.

Couple that with the fact that Frank Darabont is doing it essentially puts it on my list of highly anticipated movies of Fall '07.

Thomas Jane always reminds me of Christopher Lambert.... anyone else have that?
