Sam Weisman, best known for The Mighty Ducks 2 and the live-action George of the Jungle, has been attached to direct The Miracle of St. Anthony's according to Variety.
The film,which Weisman also serves as executive producer for, follows the 2005 season in the life of basketball coach Bob Hurley Sr., when he coached a downtrodden Jersey City high school team. Based on the 2005 book by Adrian Wojnarowski.
