Superherohype has heard that the working title for the new Punisher sequel is The Punisher: Welcome Back Frank. They also say that shooting will begin in Montreal in late September, slightly earlier than had been previously reported by us and Variety.
So is it directed at Frank? Like "welcome back, Frank." Or is it a command like "you welcome back Frank right now"? Or is it what the Punisher might be calling himself as a sort of weird new nickname? Questions questions…
For some plot details (borderline spoilers, depending on how much you want to know going in) check out IGN. But here's something you may want to know regardless: The villain is expected to be Jigsaw, the disfigured mobster/assassin from the comics.

PS: I'm sure all Fans of Punisher knows that "Frank" is the first name of the man behind the skull a.k.a Frank Caste a.k.a Francis Castiglione .
If they're shooting for an R-rated movie, they're using the right material to do it with. Welcome Back Frank was really what revived the modern version of the Punisher.
