Finn at the Blue Line scored a major victory by scooping up Sarah Jessica Parker to star in the upcoming film. The movie, written by A Mighty Heart-scribe Dan Futterman, will be directed by Lasse Halstrom and will star Parker in an as-yet undisclosed role. The film, as of now, has no financial backing, and no other stars aside from Parker, but Futterman seems pretty confident that the flic will ultimately be made. Confidence can go a long way, my friend, but at the end of the day if you ain't got no chedda, you've got some serious, uh, obstacles. 

Futterman is an immensely talented writer, with more TV credits than I have fingers and toes (20, if you're curious. No freak show here, folks). That being said, good TV writing doesn't always translate into a good film, so it will be interesting to see if he can make the leap successfully.
