After much speculation of the truth and credibility of this poster, here it is, headless Statue of Liberty in all its glory.  Notice though that the film no longer bears the tagline 'Monstrous', instead it's 'Terrifying'.  If that is seriously the name of this film, someone needs to drag J.J. Abrams outside and kick him around a little bit.  Gently, but so he gets the point.

 

Also, notice the terrifying wake leading to the terrifying ruins of that terrifying city.  Could it be a monster?  Or a large motorboat?
